Property Overview
200 Main Plaza has a long history in San Antonio. The four-story brick building was built in 1915 directly across from the Bexar County Courthouse. It served as a health department, city jail, and police station until 1962 when it was renovated into the Legal Professional Building. In 2023, the building underwent restoration and renovation to bring modern comfort and finishes to the interior while retaining the historic character of the outside. The land the building sits on was also home to the San Antonio Mutual Aid Association. Organized in 1862, the group provided goods for the needy and families of soldiers in the Civil War.
