The Abrams Fixtures buildings were a feather in the cap of Atlanta’s post-war renaissance, and the historic property is once again playing a role in a type of reinvention. This time, it’s helping a formerly industrial area become a thriving commercial and residential submarket. What was once a place to manufacture threshing machines, a table company, and a warehouse for shop display fixtures, has been carefully preserved and updated. Each Abrams Fixtures space incredibly charming, (i.e. original brick, exposed timber and large factory windows). Harder to see and impossible to recreate: the thrill of being in a rapidly developing neighborhood. There’s move-in ready office lofts for small to medium teams, customizable space for organizations of many sizes, and even a few spaces for dining and retail. Leasing is underway for 33 residential lofts elsewhere on the site. Vintage charm like this is tough to come by, especially in Atlanta. That’s why the Braden Fellman team preserved and renovated this gem, taking their time and considering every detail. As a result, Abrams Fixtures is certain to be a point of pride for this exciting part of town.
